Our clothing volunteers help unload vehicles with donated clothing, sort items by quality and season, and prepare them for the shopping floor. This includes hanging garments, organizing by size or type, and folding when needed. Volunteers also help keep the clothing area neat by picking up hangers, returning items to their place, and maintaining an inviting, organized space for those we serve.

Reception volunteers are the welcoming face of the Family Life Center. They greet families arriving to shop for clothing, answer phone calls, and help direct visitors to the right department, offering a friendly first impression and helpful support to everyone who walks through our doors.

Food pantry volunteers help manage and organize food donations, including unloading items, stocking shelves, and maintaining our 24-hour outdoor food containers. They also assist with basic data entry and help keep the storage area clean and orderly. Family Life Center holds a ServSafe Certification, and volunteers will receive training on key ServSafe guidelines to ensure safety and quality in all food handling.

Maintenance volunteers help care for our facilities by assisting with upkeep of our two main buildings and four garden sheds. Their work ensures our spaces remain safe, functional, and welcoming for everyone who visits the center.

Kitchen volunteers help prepare and serve hot lunches for our team of volunteers, Monday through Thursday. They play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming environment by offering nourishment and a friendly smile to those serving throughout the center.

Program volunteers support special initiatives like Coats for Kids and Community Christmas Families. They help with planning, organizing, and carrying out these meaningful events that bring joy and support to our community.
